Tent Sauna in Rautavaara

Rautavaara offers a free tent sauna that can be enjoyed by both residents and visitors. It provides a unique and relaxing sauna experience in a natural setting, accommodating up to four people at a time.

The tent sauna is located at Jokisuunniementie 69, in the Rautavaara boat harbour area. It is generally available during the summer season.

Availability and Access

• The sauna is available for use without prior booking.

• It can be used at any time of the day or night, but visitors are kindly asked to respect others by keeping noise to a minimum, especially during evenings and night-time.

Rules of Use

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all, please observe the following:

• Maximum of 4 people at a time.

• Enjoy the sauna in moderation and allow others their turn.

• Bench covers are recommended.

• Clean the benches if needed and tidy up after use.

• Swimwear must be worn – nude bathing is not permitted.

• The sauna must not be used under the influence of alcohol.

• Please gather firewood and water for the next users if necessary.

• Ensure any fire has completely burned out before leaving.

• Close the door properly to prevent animals from entering.
